Born and bred in Newcastle upon Tyne, Shaun moved south to Chichester in 2012 for university after a short stint living on the streets and sofa-surfing.

He has been fortunate enough to spend time living in. Africa where he helped set up an AIDS Palliative Care charity in Botswana, and a halfway home for street children in Tanzania.

Accidentally outed by Matt Lucas (of Little Britain fame) in 2012, Shaun now spends a lot of his time fighting for inclusivity within the Church of England. He works and worships at All Saints Church in Hove, an amazingly inclusive church, and is on the discernment path to becoming a priest in the future
